Khalistani terrorists backed by Pakistan are to blame for the Ludhiana court bomb blast , according to intelligence authorities.

According to a senior officer, intelligence agencies in Punjab were on high alert following the Red Fort event, keeping a careful eye on Khalistan militants attempting to reignite their activity.

They further claimed that the Punjab administration has been ignoring terror and extremism alerts and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the state.

He noted that many of these efforts were prevented in a combined operation with state police.

We shared these details with local cops as part of a statewide operation to compile a list of convicts on bail or absconding. "The recent recoveries were simply the tip of the iceberg," a senior police officer stated. 

He went on to say that the November grenade blast near the Army cantonment gate in Pathankot was also a terror attack carried out by local criminals.

Meanwhile, as the Assembly elections approach, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has stated that "anti-national forces are attempting to foment anarchy in the state." He told reporters in Ludhiana that it appeared that the person who died in the incident was carrying the explosives at first glance. He said that the body had not been removed from the crime scene because he didn't want the crime scene to be interfered with. 

"It appears that an attempt is being made to sow disorder as the election approaches. What forces, agencies, or gangs are responsible for this... The case is under investigation, and we will get to the bottom of it," Channi stated.
